My career started in 2000 as a software engineer in the Netherlands, working for a company that created invoice software. This was the start of moving to large corporates in the financial sector. From pulling statistics to implementation of banking software and smart-card applications.

While working on my development skills in different programming languages, I also found intereset in design and architecture of software applications. This boosted my career from software engineer to software architect.

While the world moves forward and cloud became popular, I also moved to a cloud and service based architecture for new software implementations. During my research on cloud based application and my experience on multiple operating systems, I also wanted to learn how it works under the hood. This allowed me to create custom on-premise cloud solutions.

With everything I learned over the years, I decided to share my experience as a freelance consultant to those who need help on various IT challanges.

Next to software, infrastructure and cloud, I also like to design electronic and robotic applications. From designing the custom circuit boards to implementing the software to integrate those circuit boards.
